Job Description

Based in Watford, Hertfordshire, our client is looking for an EMEA Payroll Specialist - If you have German, French, Spanish or Italian it would be an advantage in joining their team on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid working basis with 1 day required in the office per week.

This job would suit someone with at 5 years of relevant experience with international payroll administration in shared services centre environment ideally in European countries such as Belgium, Spain, Italy, Israel. They will be responsible for the analysis, execution, and support of payroll operations with utmost confidentiality of 5000 employee records and business information of the EMEA Payroll Finance Shared Services organisation.

The company has exciting growth plans over the next 12 months as they sell globally so exciting times for expansion. Due to the nature of the business, you would need experience with international EMEA payroll, SOX Controls and Experience in working with ADP as a provider is a must.

The successful individual will have multi-national companies experience working with third-party payroll services providers. Due to the nature of this fast-paced environment, this person must be comfortable working within a complex and highly matrixed environment. Experience working in systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, ADP Global View and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Job responsibilities:

  • Preparing global payroll data for payroll processing by third party payroll admins
  • Performing audits and validations of payroll transactions
  • Verify timekeeping records and consult managers/employees about any discrepancies
  • Executing day-to-day data entry, data corrections, mass upload etc.
  • Ensure timely preparation, processing, maintenance and appropriate distribution of payroll information, payroll reports, all tax year end reports, payroll manuals and related payroll working instructions.
  • Run remote and calculate off-cycle pay checks
  • Payroll issues are escalated and resolved with root cause analysis and corrective action for all levels of employees and management, with a focus on ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience in partnership with HR Shared Services.
  • Ensure end-to-end processes are well-thought out to address customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring changing business, regulatory and financial requirements
  • Identify and drive continuous performance improvement projects to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, productivity and / or employee satisfaction
  • Perform payroll execution in accordance with all company, country, federal, state, local and other applicable compliance requirements
  • Supporting Payroll Shared Services Team & Manager with execution of day-to-day duties.
