Sales Order Administrator

Based In Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, our client is an established company looking for a Sales Order Administrator to join their team.

This job would suit someone from a customer service or sales administration background to be responsible for providing excellent service to customers, communicating with them, handling their order requirements, and processing the orders into the system.

The successful individual will have at least 1 year’s experience in either a customer services, order processing or sales administration position and used to working in a busy environment as part of a team. They will have a passion for customer service and be comfortable dealing with numbers as part of processing the orders. It is vital the candidate has great written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work.

Duties will include:

  • Collating order information, ensuring validity and accuracy before processing
  • Responding to a range of client communication (calls, emails, social media comments, letters). This could include face-to-face contact
  • Processing orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring daily cut off times and deadlines are met
  • Resolving and recording all expressions of dissatisfaction and/or complaints on first contact, escalating to the Quality & Resolution Team when necessary
