Customer Services Manager

Based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, our ambitious fast-paced client seeks a Customer Service Manager who can join the team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit an individual who is enthusiastic and motivated and are passionate about providing excellent customer service in a lively and fast paced workplace.

The successful individual will be confident with providing first line of support for both exiting and new customers. You may have pervious experience in a corporate action’s managers role with the ability to demonstrate strong self-motivation, problem solving skills and great attention to detail.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring all corporate actions are processed accurately and communicated to customers in line with the stated timescales
  • Ensuring timely collection and communication
  • Seeking continuous improvements to existing process, systems and procedures with a view of improving efficiency and/or controls
  • Introducing & maintaining companywide and team specific service standards
  • Ensuring reconciliation discrepancies with respect to all corporate actions are promptly identified and cleared
  • Ensuring a sound Complaint handling and resolution process within responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Actively seek ways of cost saving initiatives
  • Actively take part in improving customer experience, including the development of online functions
  • Participating in relevant training throughout the year and ensuring relevant staff are aware of updated processes and procedures and on the job training

Line management and development:

  • Line manage the team ensuring they are developed through training, coaching, and mentoring to perform at a high level
  • Ensuring consistency of performance objectives and their measurement across direct reports
  • Demonstrating awareness of and compliance with the company’s management standards, acting as a positive role model and providing leadership in your role
