Job Description

Based in Witney, Oxfordshire, our client is looking for an Italian Speaking Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working role, with 3 days required in the office per week.

This job would suit someone with previous experience in an IT support helpdesk position, who is interested in going into account management.

The business are hotel revenue and distribution experts with an impressive multinational portfolio.

The successful individual will have good IT technical support knowledge and must be fluent, both verbal and written, in Italian or Greek and English. This person must be comfortable with meeting clients offsite, to review revenue performance and maintain key relationships. Previous experience of working with electronic hotel distribution channels such as a GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/TravelPort) or SynXis CRS would be particularly useful. They must be able to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner.

Job responsibilities:

  • Supporting hotels through the going live process for GDS representation, Booking Engine activation or implementation of additional services in conjunction with the Sales agents.
  • Form part of the Account Management Team and Professional Services support rota.
  • Account management responsibility for some existing accounts and new accounts as they join, to total up to approximately 75 accounts by the end of your first year - managing individual accounts performance and data and make proactive revenue advice calls to the hotels.
  • Ongoing SynXis CRS (Control Center) updates
  • Rate building and maintenance
  • loading of hotel images
  • Regular hotel quality audits
  • Deliver refresher system training to new and existing hotel members as required to ensure an agreed level of competency. To be delivered via web meeting.
  • Log all customer queries; follow up resolutions and activity in internal databases.
  • Undertake ad hoc quality checks across account portfolio and complete any remedial action required.
