Interview guidance

If your CV is created to obtain job interviews, then performing well at interview is the absolute key to being offered that dream job.

The majority of people get nervous before interviews and, realistically, there is not much you can do to prevent this. However, you can have enough of the right information to hand to ensure the interview goes smoothly and there are no unforeseen shocks knocking you off course.

Interviews generally follow a similar structure:

1.     Employer introduction
2.     Questions to investigate your skills and suitability for the position
3.     Your questions
4.     Closure and next step

Being well versed in the following 3 areas of the interview process will significantly boost your confidence and, if not, it will at least ensure that very few ‘curveballs’ come up to unsettle you:
