After an exhaustive and rigorous process, MRK Associates is delighted to be recognised amongst Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses Alumni. Our business has been on a prodigious growth curve for many years now, but we are still aware we can do more, and want to do more. After our invitation to appear in the Parliamentary Review magazine for companies following best practice in their sector, going through the interview process and being selected to undertake the prestigious Goldman Sachs course underlined the values and potential our business possesses.

Roland Seddon, MRK Associates’ Managing Director attended a four-month programme with a mix of residential and online learning with weekly conference calls and exercises to complete. This equated to over 100 hours of learning from lecturers associated with some of the world’s leading Universities. The hard work has been worth it!

The design of the programme is to help the owners of already growing businesses accelerate their plans through improving their wider business knowledge – Strategy, Planning, Direction, Finance/ Funding, Sales and Marketing – ultimately building a business plan to follow for the next few years.

As a result, MRK Associates is looking to increase its growth over the next 4-5 years and we have some exciting and ground-breaking ideas to ensure we provide the very best service helping candidates find the jobs of their dreams and therefore identifying the best talent for our clients to build their teams.

Roland really enjoyed the course and if you fulfill these criteria, you too can learn more to the betterment of your business for the short, medium and long-term:

Businesses must have been operating for 3 years
Have between 5 – 50 employees
Businesses should have a turnover in excess of £500,000 in the previous financial year
Applicant should be the principal decision maker and/or head of the business
