This is our ninth Finance Director event to be held at Ashridge Executive Education. We have always had a superb turnout and we hope you can join us on this occasion. In April 2020, IR35 legislation that governs the taxation of contractors operating through an intermediary will shift focus to the private sector and will follow on from the public sector adopting the regulations in April 2017.

Sam Cox, a Tax Director at Qdos Contractor, will be presenting all the changes and what planning you should be considering when you look to hire on an interim basis from April 2020.

Qdos is the UK’s largest integrated provider of services to contractors. Founded initially as a tax consultancy for small businesses, they established their specialism in IR35 when the legislation was introduced, and they have focused on helping contractors ever since. Qdos provides extensive insight, expertise, and knowledge of contractor issues, with special regard to the IR35 legislation. With regards to the latter, with the introduction of the off-payroll rules, their services have expanded to provide logical solutions and consultancy services for UK businesses which engage interim workforce. By attending and listening to the presentation, you can go away confident and aligned with legislative requirements. Do consider questions relative to your situation to ask.

MRK Associates will provide an overview of the recruitment market for the past 12 months’ and discuss our findings on both permanent and interim hires. We will give our insight and thoughts on how Brexit & IR35 will impact decision making over the next year too.
