What is the UK’s future post-Brexit?
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the latest Finance Director event in our series being held at 5pm-7pm on Tuesday 21st November at Ashridge Business School in Berkhamsted.
“Where are we with Brexit and what do Europe think?” This is the follow-up to our very successful event last year held a week before the Brexit vote.
Having had a great turnout at our last event we are expecting this to be even more popular now many of the European elections have been concluded and negotiations have commenced. At the time of the vote we believed there was a lack of unbiased and non-politically focused information available to the public around Brexit and we still feel this to be the case so we have arranged this event to help fill that knowledge gap.
Our two speakers, Adam Jackson – Head of Public Affairs at Grant Thornton and Dr Simon Usherwood, Reader in Politics at the University of Surrey and Researcher Investigator for the “UK in a Changing Europe” programme, are experts in their fields and will undoubtedly offer insights different to the mostly politically charged views you hear through the media.
Starting at 5pm on Tuesday 21st November at Ashridge Business School, Berkhamsted, HP4 1NS.
The event will be a drinks and nibbles evening consisting of 30 minutes initial networking before the talks which are aimed at informing the audience as to thoughts of the UK government as well as the view from within Europe.
The talks will take a middle of the road approach to BREXIT concluding with an open forum discussion allowing the audience to question or express their views openly. We have no specific end time as we want to ensure attendees get the chance to discuss issues they see as important but people are free to leave whenever they wish after the talks.
Please be aware that numbers are limited to 40 so please don’t delay on booking your place as we believe spaces will go quickly.
